Complete Move Out Cleaning Checklist For Tenant & Landlords

Image
Hello There! Losing the deposited security at the end of a tenancy is one of the scariest scenarios for a tenant. Nobody wants to lose hard-earned bond money just because of half-baked cleaning. Being a responsible tenant, I searched the internet and discovered that rental inspections are crucial when tenants move out of a leased property. It is quite overwhelming but important to follow a checklist while performing the end of lease cleaning. A landlord in Brisbane checks every nook and cranny, and that’s why I was looking for the REIQ-approved checklist. It covers all rooms, important spots and even hard-to-reach areas to help impress their property managers and get the full bond back. Well, I also did the same and hire Brisbane’s best bond cleaners. They did a great job by performing different activities, including dusting, scrubbing, washing, mopping, sanitising and disinfecting. They also followed a proven REIQ-approved checklist to leave no stone unturned. However, many peopl...

Could governments do more to help people buy a home without pumping or sinking house prices?

Image
They say desperate times call for desperate measures, and perhaps that's the situation Australian home ownership finds itself in. Once a dream, fulfilled by most, it's become a nightmare, unattainable for many. In 1981, more than 60 per cent of young Australians aged between 25-34 owned a home. The latest census figures from 2016 show that had dropped to just 45 per cent. The figures are far worse for the poorest 40 per cent of that age group, where ownership rates once barely lagged the general population, at 57 per cent, but have since more than halved to 28 per cent. Where house prices could be in two years if economists are right

Image
Where would property prices be if they rise a little further and then fall slightly over the next couple of years, as economists expect? Home prices could end up close to current levels or back at the same level as last year, but with the kicker that mortgage repayments will be more expensive. Once the Reserve Bank lifts the cash rate – perhaps as early as June or as late as 2023 – home buyers will be able to borrow less, which could constrain how much they can bid at auction and push prices down. The forecasts come after home values soared in the pandemic, as locked-down buyers armed with crisis-era interest rates chased more spacious accommodation to work from home. Australian house prices predicted to decrease dramatically

Image
Skyrocketing house prices are predicted to stall across Australia by May and to even drop by the end of December, according to Westpac, before a dramatic decrease in the coming years. The major bank has predicted that overall house prices will rise by just 2 per cent for the whole of 2022. It’s a stark difference to the whopping 22 per cent increase in property prices in 2021 – the strongest annual growth since 1989. Westpac has further predicted Australian house prices will fall by 7 per cent in 2023 and by a further 5 per cent in 2024 in its latest report. What Makes Modular Homes Different?

Image
Modular homes are built in sections in a factory setting indoors where they're never subjected to adverse weather conditions. The individual sections move through the factory with the company's quality control department checking them every step of the way. Finished modules are covered for protection, then transported to your home site. They're then placed on a premade foundation, professionally joined and completed by your local builder.
